Total of 10 loop surfaces.  The outside of unit is made of waterproof luggage fabric stiffened with lightweight waterproof foam and has a webbing strap.

Outside binding equipped with clear slip in pocket to personalize with name.  Removable sentence strip with loop strip on front and hook strip on back to store on bottom flap of notebook.  It is washable and air drys.
