The iAdapter is a rubberized case with built-in amplified speakers designed to protect your iPad from possible damage.  It fully encases the iPad and has a sliding cover on the front of the housing to hide the home button from roaming fingers that could close apps.  The speakers are dual amplified and have an adjustable volune to give a sharp, crisp sound.  The handle at the top of the iAdapter allows for easy handling for both small and large hands.  A stereo headset jack is available as well as a shoulder strap for easy carrying.   The iAdapter also comes with a Lithium rechargeable battery as well as a built in stand in the back of the case. The Lithium battery holds a charge for approximately 10 hours and runs only the built-in speakers and not the iPad itself.  Charging takes places through an included USB port and cable with a LED indicator light to let you know when it is fully charged. 

The iAdapter is especially useful for individuals with physically disabilities who need the added feature of amplified speakers and the easy to grasp handle.  It can also be mounted on a wheelchair with the an optional mounting plate through the  threaded inserts on the back of the case.
