The Optimist 3HD is a powerful
augmentative/alternative communication aid that is ideal for direct
selection on its bright, all-light readable 8.4 in. touch screen or for
scanning on its dynamic display. The unit's light weight makes
carrying easy by its audio amplifier backpack with stand/carry handle. The audio
amplifier/speaker module provides exceptionally loud, clear output.
All Optimist-3HD models now have 2 switch
ports for scanning.
The unit comes preloaded with choice of AAC
packages and a variety of speech synthesizers. The optimist 3HD
features: The Grid, Acapela, and Gus!
Communication Symbols.
The Optimist 3HDB includes Speaking
Dynamically Pro, Boardmaker and SAPI Speech Synthesis. All units
have 20 GB hard drives, built in BlueTooth connectivity and extended
life batteries. Supplied with USB Keyboard and Mouse only.
