Allora is an easy to use
keyboard based text to speech device, with high quality, natural sounding male or female voices,
in different languages, reading the messages typed on the Allora display.
In addition to the synthesized speech, Allora can
store and play digitized sounds. Sounds can be used to animate a
conversation, for playback of human voice, or as a MP3 player. The
synthesized voice (Realspeak) is available in different languages and is
easily changeable with a few keystrokes.
Allora has powerful word prediction generated from
characters keyed in. The device also has built-in scanning with no
extra display required for no added weight to lug around. The
keyboard is waterproof, with normal sized, easy to press keys. The
LCD display consists of 2 lines with 40 characters each. The first
line is used to write the message, the second line displays the word
prediction list. GEWA is included.
