Switching on
American History teaches standards-based American History at the
cause-and-effect and choice making levels.
The Switching
On Series is the first to offer standards based curriculum to students
working at the cause-and-effect and choice making levels. Switching On
American History includes American biographies, Westward movement, Early
Colonial Americans, Industrial Revolution, and American Symbols.
It includes three language levels to meet the needs of any student
included in American History classes. This Steps to Learning Program
enables you to select the topic area and the specific knowledge item the
student is studying.

- Improve switch or other computer access skills
- Work independently with standard curriculum
