The Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) allows children and adults with autism and other communication deficits to initiate functional communication using pictures.

This 26 minute DVD provides an overview of the potential benefits of using PECS and provides examples of each PECS training phase in school, home and community settings with a variety of communicative partners. The award-winning video is not intended as a training video, but rather an introduction to PECS for educators, resident care providers and families.
