Adapted books allow students to access general science curriculum standards

A three book curriculum for students in grades 5-12 who read at a second grade level or below.  The books include quizzes in multiple formats that are embedded throughout each lesson.  The pages of the books are laminated to allow them to be written on and erased.  Quizzes can also be given by students pointing to answers.  This allows students to be included and given access to the general curriculum. 

The science readers are linked to the general curriculum in the mandated academic standards' areas of earth, life and physical science and here are adapted for student access with Boardmaker symbols and simplified language.
