This option is designed for users with progressive conditions who become unable to continue to use the SL35's keyboard. It plugs into the serial port of the SL35** LightWRITER and allows scanning with a single switch. The Scan Module includes a VFD text display to show the sentence being spelled, so the Scan Module is fully self-contained and can be mounted on a wheelchair tray, or over a bed up to 2.5 from the LightWRITER.
