Millie Telega-Horner has over 20 years experience specializing in augmentative communication with eight years experience working with adults with severe and profound physical and cognitive disabilities in a residential setting.

Adding to her expertise is the fact that she is the step-mother of a severely visually/physically challenged young adult Matthew (pictured on home page). Though the "miracle" of technology, Matt enjoys a lifestyle that less than a decade ago would have been impossible. Matt uses head switches mounted to his headrest connected to two BIGmacks^™ (featured under Communication Devices to indicate a reliable yes/no). Matt also uses an elbow switch to access auditory scanning a communication device and communication software. Speaking Dynamically^™ with audible previews (featured under software), along with environmental controls to play games, assist in cooking, chores around the house and to help in his mom's office by shredding paper for packaging materials.
